The hazard

Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the upper tether anchorage for installing a child car seat may not have been properly welded to the right-hand (passenger side) second-row seatback frame. As a result, the child seat tether strap could detach in a crash. Safety Risk: A child seat that is not properly secured could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the right hand (passenger side) second-row seat back frame.
