The hazard

Issue: On a small number of RV trailers, the heating pad for the water tank could fail. As a result, the heating pad could overheat and melt. Safety Risk: A heating pad that overheats and melts can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Grand Design RV advises not to use the water tank heating pad until the recall repairs are completed. Grand Design RV will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
