Cemen Tech C60 Cement Mixer, C60E Cement Mixer: Structure

Affects Cemen Tech C60 Cement Mixer, C60E Cement Mixer · 2020–2025 — about 31 vehicles.

The hazard

Issue: On certain cement mixers, the swivel hopper assembly may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the supports for the swivel hopper ring could crack and fail. If this happens, the mixer hopper assembly could separate from the vehicle. Note: This recall only affects C60 and C60E mixers with the unit/serial numbers 4448 to 5701. Safety Risk: A mixer that separates can create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash or injury. Additionally, a mixer that separates on a parked vehicle can create a risk of injury to people near the rear of the vehicle. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Cemen Tech advises you to regularly perform a visual inspection of the supports for the inner ring of the mixer swivel hopper. If there are cracks or the mixer hopper ring has separated, the unit should be taken out of service until the recall repairs are completed. Cemen Tech will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to replace the mixer hopper assembly. Alternatively, you may contact Cemen Tech to arrange for a service technician to perform the recall repairs.
