Affects Jeep Grand Cherokee · 2023–2024 — about 6K vehicles.
The hazard
Issue: On certain vehicles, the second-row head restraints may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, they may not be able to lock in the upright position. Note: This recall affects both the Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L models. Safety Risk: A head restraint that's not positioned correctly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Action: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the second-row head restraints.
