The hazard
Issue: On a small number of school buses, the passenger seats and seat belts may not have been secured to the floor properly. As a result, the seats and/or seat belts could move or detach in a crash. Note: This recall only affects certain school buses equipped with passenger seats with seat belts. Safety Risk: A seat and/or seat belt that moves or detaches could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Action: Blue Bird will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, replace the seat nuts and bolts. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the repairs performed at a Blue Bird dealership.
