The hazard

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the rear brake line may not be secured correctly. As a result, the brake line could become damaged by contact with the exhaust. This could lead to a brake fluid leak and cause reduced braking. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2023-545. Motorcycles that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Harley-Davidson will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the clamp on the rear brake line.
