The hazard

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the soft start device for the air conditioner could fail and overheat. Safety Risk: A soft start device that overheats could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Airstream advises not to use the air conditioner until the recall repairs are completed. Airstream will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
