The hazard

Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the nut for the 12 V main disconnect switch may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the nut could loosen and cause a short circuit or electrical arcing (sparks). Safety Risk: A short circuit or electrical arcing can create the risk of a fire or injury. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the 12 V main disconnect.
