Suzuki GSX1300R - Hayabusa: Brakes

Affects Suzuki GSX1300R - Hayabusa · 2024 — about 28 vehicles.

The hazard

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the nut that attaches the brake pipe to the antilock braking system (ABS) unit may not have been properly tightened. As a result, brake fluid could leak and cause reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause increased stopping distances and create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Suzuki will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to tighten the brake pipe flare nut and inspect for brake fluid leakage. Brake fluid will be added, if necessary.
