The hazard

Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem may cause the left-rear turn signal not to work. Note: This problem would cause an error message to display on the instrument panel. Safety Risk: Turn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes and could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Volvo will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update for the central electronic module. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Volvo dealership.
