The hazard

Issue: On a small number of slide-in truck campers, an extra wire from the vehicle charging system was installed. As a result, the lithium battery in the camper could over-charge. Safety Risk: Over-charging a lithium battery can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck camper to a dealership to disconnect the charge line and install bell caps on the wires.
