The hazard

Issue: On certain buses, the fasteners securing the steering gearbox mounting plate may loosen and possibly fall out. If this happens, the steering gearbox could move and cause a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Nova Bus advises not to drive affected buses until a corrective measure is performed. Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide new steering gearbox mounting plate fasteners and instructions for how to replace them.
