The hazard

Issue: On certain trailers equipped with an AXN Tire Max axle, the wheel bearings may not have been properly lubricated. As a result, the wheel bearings could overheat and fail. If this happens, the wheels could separate from the trailer. Safety Risk: A wheel separation could increase the risk of a crash. Wheels that separate could also strike another road user. Corrective Actions: Deloupe will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a Deloupe-authorized service centre to inspect and lubricate the wheel bearings, as required.
