Land Rover Range Rover, Range Rover Sport: Seats and Restraints
Affects Land Rover Range Rover, Range Rover Sport · 2016 — about 1K vehicles.
The hazard
Issue: A problem with the driver's seat belt could cause it not to lock-up as designed during braking or in a crash. Note: This recall replaces N333 (Transport Canada recall 2019-218). Vehicles that were inspected but that didn't have the driver's seat belt assembly replaced require a second inspection. Safety Risk: A seat belt that doesn't lock properly in a crash could cause an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Jaguar Land Rover will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the driver's seat belt assembly and replace it, as necessary.
