The hazard

Issue: On certain side-by-side UTV's, the band clamp bolt for the air cleaner may not have been installed correctly. As a result, the bolt could loosen and enter the engine through the intake funnel. If this happens, the engine could fail suddenly. Safety Risk: A sudden engine failure can cause a loss of control and create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a Honda Powersports dealer to inspect and adjust the air intake funnel band and bolt, as necessary.
