The hazard

Issue: On a small number of T4528 triaxle trailers, the cover for the electronic control unit of the antilock brake system (ABS) may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the cover could loosen and cause a loss of trailer service brakes. Safety Risk: A loss of trailer brakes could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Timpte will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a Timpte dealer or authorized repair center to replace the iABS electronic control unit.
