The hazard

Issue: A small number of RV trailers were built with a missing wall panel to protect the furnace. As a result, items in the mid-deck pass-through cargo area could contact and damage the furnace or wiring. If this happens, the wiring could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Action: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your trailer to a dealer to install a wall panel to protect the furnace.
