The hazard

Issue: On certain vehicles, the side airbag in the seat may not be properly attached. As a result, the side airbag may not inflate properly in a crash. Safety Risk: A side airbag that does not inflate properly could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the side airbag assembly.
