The hazard

Issue: On certain transit buses, the safety re-opening mechanisms on the rear passenger door may not work properly under certain operating conditions due to a programming error. As a result, the rear passenger door could close on a person. Safety Risk: A rear passenger door that closes on a person could cause an injury. Corrective Actions: Nova Bus will notify owners in writing and provide them with directions for updating the vehicle software.
