The hazard

Issue: On certain vehicles equipped with a 4.0 liter 8-cylinder gas engine, the oil feed line to the turbochargers could leak. As a result, oil could leak onto hot components in engine compartment. Safety Risk: Oil leaking onto a hot engine components could cause a fire. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the oil feed line to the turbochargers.
