The hazard

Issue: On certain diesel-powered vehicles, the fuel pump may not have been properly installed in the fuel tank. As a result, a fuel leak could occur. Safety Risk: A diesel fuel leak on the roadway could create a hazard for other road users by making the road slippery. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the lock on the fuel pump mount. If necessary, it will be locked correctly.
