The hazard

Issue: On certain vehicles, the driver-front airbag module may not be properly attached. This could cause the airbag module to separate from its mount in a crash. Safety Risk: An airbag that separates from its mount may not function correctly and could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Action: Owners will be notified by mail and instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect and replace the driver-front airbag module, as required.
