The hazard

Issue: On certain fifth-wheel trailers with hydraulic brakes, the brake hoses may be not be routed properly. As a result, the hoses may be damaged during use. This could cause a brake fluid leak and a loss of brakes. Safety Risk: A loss of brakes can create a risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have the four brake hoses inspected. The hoses will be re-routed or replaced, as required.
