The hazard

Issue: On vehicles equipped with a fire suppression system that includes a Kidde KDS-25 fire extinguisher, there may be a problem with the electric actuator on the fire extinguisher. This could cause the fire extinguisher not to discharge when it is activated. Safety Risk: In a fire, an extinguisher that does not work could increase the risk of injury and/or property damage. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to contact Prevost, who will inspect extinguishers and repair as necessary.
