MV Agusta F4 RR, F4 RC: Brakes
Affects MV Agusta F4 RR, F4 RC · 2015–2016 — about 8 vehicles.
The hazard
On certain motorcycles, a crack within the polyphenilene sulphide (PPS) piston of the front brake master cylinder could occur. This may result in the master cylinder failing to generate sufficient hydraulic pressure, thereby causing a loss of front braking capability, increasing stopping distances and the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the PPS piston with one made from aluminum.
