Mercedes-Benz G Class: Brakes
Affects Mercedes-Benz G Class · 2017 — about 33 vehicles.
The hazard
On certain vehicles, the vacuum hose for the brake booster may not have been manufactured to specification which could cause the interior wall of the hose to delaminate. If this occurs, the vacuum supply of the brake booster may be constrained which could lead to increased braking effort by the driver, resulting in longer stopping distances which would increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace the vacuum hose as necessary.
