The hazard
Certain vehicles may fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 202 - Head Restraints and CMVSS 207 - Anchorage of Seats. The front passenger seat back frame assembly may contain a weld that fails to meet the strength performance requirements of the standards, which could increase the risk of injury to the seat occupant in a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the front passenger seat back assembly.
