The hazard

On certain units built on 2017 Ford Super Duty chassis’, the under hood fuse block of the jump start plug kit for the chassis battery may contact the hood. This could result in an electrical short, which could increase the risk of a fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will either replace the jump start kit mounting bracket with one that relocates the fuse block to a position with better with better clearance to the chassis hood, or remove the front jump start system.
