The hazard

Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The light conductor for the side marker lamps might have been misaligned by the supplier. This could result in the side marker lamp brightness not being sufficient, and not meet the requirements of the standard, which would reduce vehicle visibility, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will align the light conductors in the headlamps.
