The hazard
Certain infant car seats do not meet the injury criterion limits established by the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 213.1. If a collision occurs, there is a potential risk of injury to a child occupant as this specific car seat and base combination does not appear to adequately protect the occupant. Correction: All registered owners with affected car seats will be provided instructions on how to obtain a repair kit consisting of a new base. Non-registered owners, or owners who have moved, should contact Graco Children's Products, at 1-800-345-4109 or <a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a> to obtain a free repair kit or, if they have any questions.
