The hazard

On certain travel trailers, the certification label on the towing hitch that indicates the maximum Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and Tongue Weight for the trailer was omitted. This could lead to vehicle overloading, potentially causing damage to trailer and affecting vehicle handling, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles, along with instructions for proper installation. Alternatively, owners can visit a Jayco dealer to have the new certification label applied.
