Mercedes-Benz E Class: Seats and Restraints

Affects Mercedes-Benz E Class · 2015 — about 39 vehicles.

The hazard

On certain vehicles, the second row rear seat double belt buckle may contain a defect which could cause the buckle for the rear middle seat position to fail in a severe frontal crash, potentially allowing the seat belt to become disconnected from the buckle. This would increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the double seat belt buckle.
