The hazard

On certain vehicles equipped with four-cylinder engines, a manufacturing defect could cause the engine valve springs to break, potentially causing abnormal noise, rough engine performance, and in some cases, a sudden loss of motive power while driving. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the valve springs.
