Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra (Flhtcutg): Brakes
Affects Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra (Flhtcutg) · 2014 — about 20 vehicles.
The hazard
On certain vehicles, the upper fork stem bracket was machined incorrectly and could allow more steering angle than intended. This could allow the fairing to contact the rear brake reservoir, which could result in a loss of brake fluid and a reduction in braking performance, and damage the steering damper, affecting vehicle handling. Both these issues could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect the fork stem bracket and replace if necessary.
