The hazard

Certain vehicles fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 207 – Anchorage of Seats. Specifically, the passenger seat does not meet the strength test requirements of the Standard. Seat failure during a vehicle crash could increase the risk of injury to the seat occupant. Correction: Dealers will replace the seat adjuster rail, anchor plate, and mounting hardware with updated versions.
