The hazard
On certain buses, the starter cable may have been incorrectly routed and could chafe against the steel braided power steering hose. Continued contact could wear through the power cable's insulation, which could result in an electrical short circuit. An electrical short could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, install a clamp to prevent further contact. Damaged power steering hoses or starter cables will be replaced.
