The hazard
Certain children’s restraint systems may experience slippage of the adjustment webbing at the centre front adjuster mechanism, which can result in potential loosening of the harness system. If the harness system loosens, the resulting slack may reduce the effectiveness of the restraint system in a motor vehicle collision and thereby increase the risk of injury.
