The hazard

On certain motorcycles, the front wheel quick-release axle may not have been manufactured to specifications. The quick-release axle might be of reduced wall thickness which, under severe loads (off-roading, for example), could cause the axle to break. This could result in a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the quick-release axle.
