The hazard

Certain multi-stage child car seats contain an incorrect National Safety Mark (NSM,) and thus do not comply with the labelling requirements of the Motor Vehicle Restraint System and Booster Cushions Safety Regulations. The NSM label affixed to the seats only indicates compliance with CMVSS 213.2, instead of both CMVSS 213.2 and CMVSS 213. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected seats along with instructions for proper installation.
