The hazard

Certain trailers fail to comply with CMVSS 905 - Trailer Cargo Anchoring Devices. These units were assembled with an inadequate number of cargo anchors. Should the vehicle be involved in a crash, the existing anchors could become overloaded and fail, causing a risk of personal injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or bystanders. Correction: Dealers will install addition cargo anchoring devices.
