The hazard

On certain travel trailers, the lock for the side ramp door may not properly be latched by the operator, could fail to lock and/or the attaching hardware could come loose. Any of these three possibilities could result in the door opening upwards while in transit. Should this occur, the door could impact bystanders or objects, resulting in personal injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will install an exterior latch assembly.
