Nissan Titan: Seats and Restraints
Affects Nissan Titan · 2004 — about 631 vehicles.
The hazard
On certain Crew Cab vehicles, there may not be sufficient webbing on the retractor spool for the rear center seatbelt to release from the automatic locking mode (ALR). To release the ALR function and return to emergency locking retractor mode (ELR), the seatbelt has to be spooled all the way in. Should the seatbelt not switch back to ELR, it would be rendered unusable. An unbelted seat occupant would receive increased injury during a vehicle crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the rear center seatbelt assembly.
