The hazard
On certain snowmobiles the fuel tank filler neck can crack (2004 to 2006 models) and/or the fuel outlet fitting (2003 to 2006 carburetor models only) may have damaged threads. Either of these conditions may result in a fuel leak with the potential for fire. Correction: Dealers will replace or repair fuel tanks as necessary.
