The hazard
On certain fold-down trailers, the hydraulic brake line elbow between the brake hose and the backing plate may fail while the vehicle is underway. Loss of trailer brakes could increase stopping distances and cause a crash, possibly resulting in property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the brake line elbows.
