The hazard

Certain ambulances fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 108. The side and rear reflex reflectors, required by the standard, were not installed during vehicle assembly. During emergency situations at night, the rear of the ambulance may not be as visible to other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will install red reflex reflectors.
