The hazard

Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS 120.3. The rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) and the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) printed on the vehicle compliance label is greater than the rear tire capacity. The correct GAWR and GVWR will be exceeded if the vehicle is loaded to the rear GAWR and GVWR shown on the labels. Correction: Updated compliance labels and installation instructions will be mailed to owners. Note: Further evaluation revealed that only U.S. vehicles are affected.
