The hazard

On certain travel trailers, the electrical wires for the trailer brakes may have been improperly secured along the frame. The brake wires could contact the axle mounting plate and chafe through the protective insulation. This condition, if not addressed, may result in loss of braking, which could lead to an accident and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will re-route the trailer brake wires.
