The hazard

On certain vehicles, the universal joint between the front drive shaft and the front drive axle may come in contact with the engine oil filter causing a puncture and resulting in complete engine oil loss. Engine oil loss will result in the shutdown of the vehicle's engine without warning, possibly resulting in property damage, personal injury, or death. Correction: Dealer will install a shorter oil filter and an adapter designed to ensure that only the shorter oil filter can be installed during future filter changes.
