The hazard
On certain trucks the positive battery cable routing past the ECM may allow the cable to chafe against the ECM mounting stud. Chafing may wear through the protective loom and battery cable insulation to allow contact between the cable and the stud. This contact would provide a short circuit which may cause a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace and/or reroute the cables.
