The hazard
On certain vehicles, the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) drive belt may fail. When this occurs there is a possibility that a detached section of the belt could lock up the transmission including the wheels. This could cause the operator to lose control of the vehicle and possibly result in a crash. Correction: Belt will be inspected/adjusted /replaced as necessary and owners will be provided with safety information stressing the importance of proper maintenance.
